Food is donated by local stors and donations to the shelter. This program is limited to Monroe County residents. We are also looking for used (non-working) freezers to store this food. Great idea and great success so far in 2011. Check out the web site: <a href="http://www.secondchancepals.org">www.secondchancepals.org</a>. The objective is to save more adult animals turned into the shelter. SCP is looking for fosters for these pets, sponsors for weekly care of an animal at $50 per week or one-time donations of $75, which pays for spaying/neutering of the animals in the program.
