A new program started in 2011 by Anja Hammersmith and Nancie Guido. Check out the web site: www.secondchancepals.org. The objective is to save more adult animals turned into the shelter. SCP is looking for fosters for these pets, sponsors for weekly care of an animal at $50 per week or one-time donations of $75, which pays for spaying/neutering of the animals in the program.
