The MCFA Gala will be at the Tellico Village Yacht Club this year. Work on this major event was started in early 2011 by many dedicated volunteers. Be sure to get your tickets as soon as they are available. Look for ticket availability news.

Patronize Our Business Boosters
MCFA has a list of all the local companies that supported our 2010 Gala. Be sure to show them your support by visiting their business. Copies of these wonderful businesses can be obtained from any of the MCFA Board Members.
Animal Food Pantry
Created in 2011 by Cyndi Loud and Terry Todd, this program provides free animal food on the third Tuesday of the month at the shelter. Food is donated by local stors and donations to the shelter. This program is limited to Monroe County residents. We are also looking for used (non-working) freezers to store this food. Great idea and great success so far in 2011. Well done ladies!
Second Chance Pals (SCP)
A new program started in 2011 by Anja Hammersmith and Nancie Guido. Check out the web site: www.secondchancepals.org. The objective is to save more adult animals turned into the shelter. SCP is looking for fosters for these pets, sponsors for weekly care of an animal at $50 per week or one-time donations of $75, which pays for spaying/neutering of the animals in the program.
